Well, it began one day when we wanted to make a product where we could enjoy the perks of a portable instant photo printer, without paying the prices usually associated with them. And once we developed exactly that, we knew we just had to share it with the world.

We’ve seen how industry leaders charge massive amounts of money not just for the camera or printer itself, but for the replacement film too. The amount it cost you for everything just adds up so quickly and you find yourself thinking, this picture is going to cost me R90. Nobody blink...

But someone just did.

You deserve a second chance at recording a memory without having to pay for it! So we’ve made sure you don’t have to!

Introducing you to our Paperang.

• Firstly, the Paperang works differently to the Polaroid. If you don’t like a photo, you can retake it, again and again until you’re happy. This is possible because the Paperang works off an app that uses your camera roll to print images, meaning you can take a photo now, but print it later. Printing photos, however, is only the start of what this little piece of dynamite is able to do.
• Secondly, we’ve tried to tackle the costs associated with instant printing and we think we’ve nailed it. The Paperang was created to print without ink. Yes, you read that right no ink. The printer uses heat to print, also known as thermal printing technology.
• Adding to that, we’ve also made it possible for you to print on paper that is affordable and you can find it in your local supplies store! Our paper cost R159 for 3 rolls and you can on average make 50 prints per roll. That’s a total of 150 prints for R159.99. No more of that R90 for one print rubbish!
